The Hand That Feeds

Now I usually avoid zombie books because they are so similar and this book at least was a bit different. It's about a family, a husband and wife and their young son. The father has to do things in order to keep his family together. It is interesting at the start, but quickly drags on with pointless action scenes.
The ending was obvious, I saw it coming a mile away. For a zombie story it was just OK. I would have liked the mother's story to have been fleshed out more.
