This Victorian zombie tale is very interesting. It's not your typical mindless, flesh-eating zombies. These zombies are basically human, but are shackled and treated like slaves. Alice is under constant nagging from her mother, who wants her to be a ""proper lady.""

This book really shows the oppression of women in Victorian Times, and touches on class-ism. A great read!
